Research, Monitoring, Programme Analysis and MIS Development

  • Conducted a comprehensive research on Gender Based Violence (GBV) on Rohynga Refuge people at Kutupalang camp in Teknaf from March 15 to September 15, 2009 as a potential team member of the Learning & Sharing (L&S) Unit of Concern Worldwide.

  • Assisted develop M&E and PM&E (Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation), MIS systems for the different projects of Concern Worldwide i.e. We are People too, Amader Songthoon, OPCA, ALAP Project and etc.

  • Contributed to develop methodologies for livelihood projects Baseline studies

  • Analysed different studies data using SPSS, developed MIS database in Computer using MS Access and also analyzed quantitative and qualitative data for writing research report

  • Imparted staff training on communication, team building, Appreciative Inquiry (AI), qualitative and quantitative methods in research and M&E

  • Carried out a survey on “National Economic Situation 2003” as a supervisor of National Economic Survey Project-2003 in MIDAS

  • Research on stakeholder analysis in the Char (the river basin) context of Bangladesh

  • In Concern worldwide, assisted project teams in effective and up to date data management and maintenance of MIS as and when required.

  • Helped in developing M&E plan for the projects exploring proactively to work out creative ways to foster a learning culture.

  • Conducted some studies with team such as PRM baseline, stakeholder mapping in Char for Char context, etc.

  • Coordinated the orientation and training to project staff and partners on M&E systems/tools.

Contributed to keep track of Concern’s previous and on-going research work and ongoing lesson learning from project implementation and assisted in development of lessons learnt for wider dissemination.
